At Flippers, I served as the Senior Lead Designer, working closely with vendors and the marketing team to bring weekly creative to life across both our New York and London skating venues. A big part of the role was building momentum around upcoming events—designing flyers that promoted everything from weekly rollouts to special guest appearances.
I also worked on Flippers-branded apparel, designing graphics for tees, hoodies, and event-specific merch drops. For the New York venue, I handled window displays and signage, while the London launch involved branded food boxes, digital screen graphics, wayfinding posters, and other essentials for opening day. Alongside all of that, I also helped design and build out the brand’s e-commerce site—making sure the visuals and UX felt just as tight online as they did in person.
Some of the biggest names came through—De La Soul, Central Cee, Usher, Mary J. Blige—and I created custom flyers tailored to each performance. These weren’t just plug-and-play templates; each design had to reflect the vibe of the artist while staying true to Flippers' retro-meets-modern brand identity. I also designed a special-edition skate packaging inspired by The Chronic by Dr. Dre, blending classic West Coast visuals with the brand’s own aesthetic.
The pace was fast, the output was high, and the brand had real personality—which made it fun to build for. Whether it was a one-night event or a full venue launch, the work was all about making every visual moment feel intentional and in motion.
